Submit Your Question to the Candidates

Your Vote 2008 gives you a chance to be heard at the upcoming candidate debates for the U.S. House and Senate races to be broadcast and webcast on MPBN.

Make a video asking a question of one or more of the candidates following these simple rules:

  • State your name and your city or town.
  • Address your question to one or more of the candidates in one of the races (if you have more than one question please make a separate video for each question.
  • The video file must be 50MB in size OR LOWER.
  • Email the file to yourvote@mpbn.net
MPBN will have a camera set up at each of the three debates for audience members to record a question ON SITE before the debate for possible use during the broadcast.

Incumbent Mike Michaud (D) and challenger John Frary (R) debate live from Page Commons at Colby College.

Collins and Allen

Thursday, October 23 at 8:00pm - U.S. Senate Debate*

Incumbent Susan Collins (R) debates challenger Tom Allen (D) live from Hannaford Hall on the campus of the University of Southern Maine's Muskie School of Public Service.

Summers and Pingree

Thursday, October 30 at 8:00pm - U.S. First District Debate*

Chellie Pingree (D) and Charlie Summers (R) debate live from Studzinski Recital Hall at Bowdoin College.

*Debates will be available as on-demand video and audio downloads immediately following the live event.
